New Frontiers in Basic Cardiovascular Research 2022
the 14th conference New Frontiers in Basic Cardiovascular Research
on May 25 – 27, 2022 in Bratislava, Slovakia
The tradition of these meetings lasts for more than 25 years; it started in 1994 as a bilateral Czechoslovakia-France meeting, but later on was open for other new EU countries and organized every second year in one of the V4 countries or France (Prague 1994, Smolenice 1996, Strasbourg 1998, Mariánské Lázně 2000, Smolenice 2002, Montpellier 2004, Debrecen 2006, Krakow 2008, Toulouse 2010, Hradec Králové 2012, Smolenice 2014, Paris 2016, Prague 2018).
These meetings provide a unique platform for an exchange of scientific ideas and significantly contributed to collaboration among researchers from these countries. The meeting participants will come mainly from V4 countries, other new EU countries and France, in order to strengthen communication and mutual collaboration, thereby accelerating scientific progress in cardiovascular research.
Unfortunately, the 2-year period tradition of these meetings has been interrupted by COVID-19 pandemic. We are thus very pleased that the postponed 14th New Frontiers meeting will take place this year in Bratislava and you are cordially invited to participate on this enjoyable scientific event.
The meeting will provide an excellent opportunity for young researchers and students to present their projects and results and discuss them with established investigators as well as to compete in both oral and poster sessions. We promise to prepare not only an attractive scientific program but also an enjoyable social event.
